Welcome to Way Back WednesdayFor October 15, 2008. We continue on our path through the commercial revolution with our tribute to the days of greed, big hair, and the birth of big money. The 80’s was a big period of change where ad’s were target at our heartstrings, and our pocketbooks. Ads became much more “kid” friendly.
After All if our kids wanted it, Mom and Dad would have to buy it right?
Vic-20
The Birth of the home Computer.
Simon
Tested your hand eye coordination. Was eventually killed off by Playstation controllers.
California Raisins
The birth of Computer Animation. And to think these commercials only took a year to make. Unlike today where I could pump these out at home in a few hours.
Jello Pudding Pops
Gotta Love Bill Cosby and his Jello Pudding.
And that’s Way back Wednesday for this week. Join us next week for our journey to the 90’s and the time of big business.
