When Grandparents attack

Grandparenting can be a difficult job. I think some do it well, and other not so well. Finding that middle ground is key. What I have found, it than on both sides of our family, we have the overinvolved, and the the other side is barley involved. Where is it we find that balance.

In my family grandparents have always been important. That’s the way it was. My grandmother ruled my mother’s family and nobody complained. But then she was a benevolent ruller.
My grandfather was the center of my father’s family.
We rauised our children to see their granpsarents as special and their fondest memories are of spending a week at oine set of grandparents or the other.
Noew we are the grandparents. My grandkids look to the time they can come and stay with us for a week. My kids still consult us on big decesions ( they do their own thing anyway. But they consult.
