I have been wanting to blog about so many things lately. But each time as I get a posting ready, I change some of my thoughts. So many times it’s not even that I have nothing to post, I have too much to post. When I started blogging it was to find that “extra” income. My endeavors in that arena have not yet been successful, mostly because of me. It all comes down to time and choices sometimes.
I think most things in life can be broken down to the choices we make. While my debt both the debt that was necessary, and that part of it which isn’t were choices. Choices I made. And hindsight is 20/20, and some of those choices I may not have made, but most I would have.
The other choice we always have is choosing to learn from our choices. And that is what can separate people who grow and those that do not.
I think of often stop and let some of my choices depress me. Yet they never should. They have brought me to where I am today. Even in debt I have family, great children, and a great wife. Even my dogs are pretty great, except when they are misbehaving.
So my thought for today is all about choices. We all have good days and bad days, but I hope you all chose to make this a good one.

And that’s the hard part isn’t it? Getting to that point where you can admit that it was you, that your choices got you where you are. My hubby and I took a long time to stop making excuses. Now the difficult thing is, I am one for changing our ways and he is one for continuing on with the old patterns. It makes for some friction.

How true. There are times it can be really hard for my wife and I to get on the same page as well.
