Week 6, and the Tonsilectomy

Hi There! Mr. Bad at Blogging lately here. Not only have I been bad about writing, but I will be honest in that I have been bad about reading. I just have been on the go 24/7 over the last two weeks, but hopefully all will slow down soon. So now for the updates….

I am on vacation this week, though we aren’t doing anything exciting. Will had his tonsils and adenoids out yesterday, and being ever the drama child he is being extra dramatic, but he is 8 so he gets a slide. Of course with the surgery comes the bad breath, which we were warned would last a few days. Now of course with his Mom being pregnant, her sense of smell seems to be working overtime, so if he breathes near her she turns quite green very quickly. She actually commented about how she almost wished she felt worse as it would make the pregnancy more “real”, because so far, “Knock, knock”, she says it’s been a really easy one. Now as far as I go, I am still settling in to the idea of being a “Scratch Dad”. You see Will, and Jon came pre-trained, though we have to do some “re-training”, it seems like it might be easier than starting form scratch. I am excited though, but probably will be more so on Friday when I see and hear the baby for the first time.

This leads me to the last update…Debt. This week I am working on trying to figure out how to balance it all out, and at least get the APR lowered so it’s more affordable. I hope to have that figured out by the end of the week as well. So far Nicole has not heard back from her perspective employer, so we are in the holding pattern as to when she is supposed to start. Though she decided to that if she doesn’t hear back this week she will do some Temporary stuff until she does.

I apologize that I have been so bad lately, about reading and posting, but I will post a few more times this week, and take the time to read the blogs I am a community member of. I promise J
