Build Tomorrow - Another Day Of Life Rotating Header Image

Back to basics

When I started this blog almost three months ago it was somewhat therapeutic. I had a lot of thoughts, and things that I didn’t quite no how to release, and this has been a great way. It’s also taught me a lot. If you Google “Build Tomorrow”, I am as of today # 2 on Google, so it has given me the opportunity to learn lots of other skills. I still however try to find ways to gain new readers, to both this and my other site “The Community Center”. So today I decided to stop and refresh myself on the reasons I started doing this.

#1-An outlet for my stress over my debt load. This was particularly straight forward, as when I look back to a little over a year ago I had zero debt. And as hard as this has been I have to remind myself, that I can get out of it, and it was necessary to provide the children I agreed to take on the necessary tools to succeed that they had not had before. And even through all of the frustration, I see that while they may be slow the results are beginning to show. Both boys will grow into successful adults, and make all of this worth it.

#2- To be part of something that is bigger than I am. I think back to my first professional career when the Internet was just starting, and it was not very useful. Used as a positive force the World Wide Web can bring communities of people together, in a way like no other. People no longer have to feel they are alone in the world. You can always find someone who is in the same boat as you. And just maybe, I will make a difference in someone’s life.

#3- To recover from my debt. There are so many people out there who make an extra income from the Internet, and I hope to use their knowledge to do the same. Now mind you I am not looking to be rich, just to get back to where I was 2 years ago.

#4- To return to writing. I haven’t really written much in the last ten years. I was an avid writer in College and for a few years after. Mostly short stories. I was working with a publisher to publish many of them when my mother passed away. I drifted away from writing, and never looked back.

#5- To Give Back. I have done a lot of things in life. I was an Emergency Medical Technician for 10 years, was on my own at 18, on my second marriage, and have been through good and bad. Maybe someone will read my blog, and gain some value, and then it’s all worth it.

    Hi Family Man,

    Have faith!

All things will works out if you don’t give up.

Everybody (including myself) has their own problems. The way we see the problem is the problem.

There could be a lot of great values in difficulties. Indeed, the lesson is painful but it can bring forth the treasure within us.

    Take care my friend.
    Best Wishes

    Some thoughts:

#2 To be part of something that is bigger than I am

I love the community *feel* of blogging. I have made some really good friends since starting to blog.

What’s more, bloggers are really community-driven people (always trying to help each other).

    #4 To return to writing

For me personally, I wouldn’t say I’m ‘returning’ (I’ve never been a ‘writer’ and don’t consider myself to be one. However, I do enjoy trying to write something that people will appreciate (or most importantly, laugh at).
