So today is a red letter day, but not necessarily in a positive way. I am going to look into something I thought I would never have to do. I am going to look into borrowing from my retirement. You will read and hear everywhere that it never a good idea. But the amount I will be forced to pay back each month is less than the amount I am currently paying, and it’ll save more in interest than I will loose over the life of the loan. It will make a dent in what we pay out each month, but not really reduce the overall shift. It will also lock me into my current job for the foreseeable future. But when it comes down to it I need to take care of my family today, and hope that I can generate a second income, and that if my wife works over the summer we can catch up again. I have been listening to the “Turn Your Debt into Wealth” program by John Cummuta, and found it to be valuable, at least in making me feel that I am not so alone in this. We never tried to get where we are. You can get to his website here http://www.mydebtfreeplan.com. I got his program from the local library so I didn’t pay the $39.95, but if you’re struggling with debt it can help you feel a little less overwhelmed. After much thought I decided to add a Donate button to the site. It was hard to go that route, and accept the kindness of strangers, but I have donated to these types of causes in the past, and I can only hope that that Karma or kindness comes back to me. I can also be confident that I will NEVER get into this hole again, once I can finally dig out. Any inspirational stories would be warmly welcomed.
-Thanks!
