It’s both challenging and exciting to be back to the world of blogging.  It has been a very rough few months, and in many ways still is rough.  That is the first thing to acknowledge when starting over from nothing.

That I think has been the biggest struggle for me not only personally, but for my whole family.  It can be very hard to not wallow in self-doubt, and self pity.  I can say that at times that has been the most difficult for me.  There have been many a night over the last few months that I have spent some sleepless nights wondering what I did wrong, or wondering what I didn’t do that could have brought my life to a different point.

Those feelings of self doubt, self pity, and reflection are all part of the process, the human process that makes us who we are.  It’s that reflection that hopefully brings us lessons, and ultimately peace to make things better, and prevent us from being in the same place again.

I am now for the most part debt free.  Of course especially in this, the world of today, having no debt is very hard, but the tiny amount we do have is the cost of living, and not the cost of surviving.  That is a difference, not only in words but in attitude.

Now the freedom from the debt has come at a cost. One that creates a new kind of debt, not measured in money, but in time, and a test of wills.  Mostly mine as I find a way to start over, and build a better life for myself and my family.

That will be the focus of a series here, entitled “Jumping off the Cliff” beginning next week.  This week I hope you will take some time to get used to the new site layout, and get reacquainted with me.

So welcome to Another Day of Life, and I am glad you are here.  The goal is to Build Tomorrow, and share the collective wisdom we all have.  So please feel free to contact me with questions, thought opinions, or to share your story.  Guest posting is always welcome.

I also want to thank my friend Kyler, who has been extremely helpful in getting the new site going, and I wish him a lot of luck as he moves on to new projects.

For those fellow bloggers I haven’t visited in a while, I will be visiting soon, now that my mind and head are beginning to fall back in place.

Until next time,

~Build Tomorrow.
