Welcome to this weeks edition of Way back Wednesday, “When Technology Was Young”.  This week we have three classic television commercials for you.  They take us back to the old days of technology.  Seeing these make me wonder how we survied before Blackberrry’s, Outlook, and Web Logs, or “Blogs”.  Enjoy!

The Phone Company

Before the breakup in 1985, you really had few choices in Telephone service.  And “The Phone Company” wanted you to remember that.

America Online

The first big Internet Service Provider, AOL brought you wordwide email, the brand new internet, and digital copies of your favorite magizines.  At an amazing 256K per minute.

Motorola Flip Cellular Phone

For only a few hundred dollars, you too could have this amazing phone, that was offered through Cellular One, and allowed you to make call from anywhere.  As long as there was cell service, and in the beginning, it was really iffy.

And that’s way back wednesday for this week.  Until next time.
